With Valentines Day fast approaching, the wise have already begun to plan out their romantic night with that “special someone.”

If you’re hoping to spend Valentines out on the town, these three Germantown restaurants will make your February 14th a night to remember.

Designed from floor-to-ceiling as a tasteful homage to American nostalgia, 5th & Taylor is now entering its fifth year as one of Germantown’s staple spots for a romantic dinner.  The former warehouse space is somehow able to feel both lively and cozy, using an almost rustic design philosophy coupled with hundreds of wax candles to provide the perfect Valentines ambiance.  We recommend the must-have Sausage Cheddar Biscuits or the perfectly-seasoned Bacon Wrapped Quail to start, followed by either the Fried Duck Wings (served with kale and summer squash) or the Beer Can Chicken.

Particularly well known for its personally-crafted cocktails, shareable small plates, and critically-celebrated pasta dishes, Rolf and Daughters has been making waves nationally since it was voted the #3 New Restaurant in America in 2013 by Bon Appétit Magazine.  With a quiet, romantically-lit atmosphere and a menu of seasonally-rotating dishes (including our current favorite, the Garganelli Verde Pork Ragout), Rolf and Daughters has become one of the favorite date spots for Nashville couples.  Make sure to reserve a table early, though—or you might have to settle for communal or bar seating.

A staple of Nashville’s pioneering food scene, SILO is a Southern-focused, farm-to-table bistro that provides the ideal romantic atmosphere for a Nashville Valentines dinner.  The rich wood tones and low-hanging spotlights set the tone for soft, intimate conversation, and the menu provides a variety of seasonally-inspired Southern dishes.  Our personal favorites were the delightfully-spicy Shrimp and Grits and the hearty Pork Chop with fig sauce and smoked blue cheese. Although honestly, everything on the menu is to-die-for.

Whether you’re celebrating with a long-time loved one or trying to impress a new romantic interest, Germantown has the perfect restaurant to make this year’s Valentine’s your best yet!
